BOSTON- A JetBlue (B6) passenger shocked travelers at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) after exercising in his underwear at a gate, then stripping completely naked before being restrained and removed by Massachusetts State Police.
The incident took place inside Terminal C, where JetBlue (B6) operates the bulk of its flights. Passengers waiting to board witnessed the man discard his clothing, stand unclothed with arms stretched wide, and mutter incoherently before officers intervened.

According to video evidence from the scene, the man initially performed stretches and exercises in red underwear near the JetBlue (B6) gate area.
Moments later, he removed the underwear entirely, exposing himself to passengers. Standing fully nude, he spread his arms in a defiant stance while continuing to mumble.
Massachusetts State Police Troop F officers, recognizable by their gray-blue uniforms and campaign hats, were quickly called to the gate. They subdued the man and escorted him from the area.
The event was not timestamped on video, and no departure monitor indicating a specific flight was visible, making it unclear whether the individual was scheduled to travel.

This was not the first time Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) witnessed a bizarre nude disturbance. In a notable 2012 case, an unclothed man fell through the ceiling of a women’s restroom at the airport and was later charged with attempted murder.
Elsewhere in the United States, similar cases have made headlines:
- At Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), a naked passenger once walked through a TSA checkpoint and was allowed to proceed, sparking legal debate about public nudity and free speech.
- In Miami International Airport (MIA), a woman stormed a TSA checkpoint nearly naked and was subdued with a taser. The city once even saw a startup airline, Naked-Air, attempt a Miami–Cancun route.
- At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), a woman walked unclothed through the terminal, stopping to pose for photos.
- Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) reported a naked man strolling casually past a TGI Friday’s restaurant in the concourse.

In Massachusetts, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct are typically filed in such public indecency cases. However, prosecutors may also pursue the charge of “open and gross lewdness,” a felony offense applied when exposure is intentional and causes public shock or alarm.
If convicted, penalties could include significant fines, mandatory counseling, probation, or imprisonment, depending on the severity of the disruption and prior criminal history.
While rare, incidents involving nude or disruptive passengers at major U.S. airports highlight broader security and safety concerns. Such behavior can cause panic, delay operations, and require immediate diversion of law enforcement resources.
For airlines such as JetBlue (B6), these events create additional challenges in maintaining passenger comfort and safety inside already crowded terminals.
