SriLankan Cabin Crew Selection

The airline has invited shortlisted candidates to participate in the next phase of the selection process. This is scheduled for May 20-23, 2025, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

This centralised venue provides the necessary infrastructure for processing the large number of qualified applicants efficiently.

Multi-stage Assessment

Candidates face a comprehensive evaluation process designed to identify the most suitable individuals for cabin crew positions.

The assessment begins with thorough document verification to confirm that applicants meet all basic requirements. This is followed by an image and presentation evaluation. This will assess candidates’ ability to project the professional appearance required for customer-facing roles.

Applicants who successfully progress through these initial stages then participate in aptitude interviews conducted by expert panels. Each candidate must complete each assessment stage to advance to the next phase of consideration. The structured approach ensures consistent evaluation across all applicants.

Final Selection

Those who successfully navigate all preliminary rounds will proceed to final interviews at SriLankan Airlines’ headquarters in Katunayake.

This final stage determines which candidates will receive offers to join the airline’s cabin crew team. The headquarters location allows candidates to experience the airline’s operational environment firsthand.
