The Cochin International Airport Ltd received the threat through their official email system, prompting immediate security protocols.

Flight 6E departed Kochi at 9:31 AM on Tuesday, carrying 157 passengers and six crew members en route to Delhi (DEL). The aircraft had previously arrived from Muscat (MCT) before continuing its scheduled journey to the Indian capital.

CIAL officials immediately convened a Bomb Threat Assessment Committee to evaluate the credibility and severity of the threat. The committee classified the bomb threat as “specific,” indicating a heightened level of concern requiring immediate action.
